If you are student don't buy this phone. You will be wasted hard earned money due to you can't install certain apps like MS meeting and some education related new apps.

jegger, 16 Nov 2020 whats the use for these app gallery.?? Well App gallery is Huawei own App store because its banned from using play store so App gallery came all of sudden. So App gallery is new so it takes time for developers to add apps. And already there are apps coming so it takes time. And more and more apps are coming day by day especially local apps like banking.

Randika, 15 Nov 2020Very nice android device..performances are amazing with thi... moreI have already replied in this forum about google meet. I mean its not perfectly working but its fine. Just goto Huawei App Gallery search for Google Meet. You will google Meet icon saying Open. Open it and i guess you can sign in not sure about it because i only used by code. And there is a floating circle thing with 3 dots and a symbol. Click 3 dots and Add to Desktop it will create a shortcut for you on Home screen. Test it out and let me know weather it works. Mine works but i usually don't use Meet like maybe 1 time i used and it worked.

I would suggest using Apkpure which is very good for updating and getting apps. And for youtube i already posted how to download you can check it out. And other all social media apps works flawlessly.

Also another easy way to use google Meet and google classroom is goto Huawei App gallery search google Meet > there will be google Meet saying 'Open' > press open > And now you can use it easily from that side corner somewhere there is a circle with 3 dots press that and press "Add to desktop ". Now you can directly open it from Homescreen.
And the same method for Google classroom.
Note : please update "Quick app center" in App gallery in order to work best.

For many people who are struggling for Apps.
Most of the Apps you can get through Petal search.
And the other way is download Apkpure it will give access to almost all google play store Apps. (noted that some Apps really need play store to work but most apps works.)

And for youtube you can download youtube vanced

And for google Meet unfortunately you can't get. either you should download google play store (you can check out latest videos in youtube for download check latest one because the old way to download play store mostly don't work.). Or use web version its little hard because you have to change view to desktop view to work.
