Very bad phone, if you are looking for a budget phone I don't recommend this to you. Firstly the phone doesn't have Google services, apps like play store, youtube, and other will not work even if you sideload them. Secondly this is phone is running in 32 bit architecture, most apps are now in 64 bit so other apps cannot be installed if they are incompatible. Lastly freezing, crashes, hanging, and random restarts of the phone is very common.

Been using as a borrowed phone in the meantime, never really saw myself liking it. Battery last almost all day with light to medium use. Camera is decent, works ok in good lighting. Surprised how well the chipset works in modern games(COD, PUBG). No issues with storage either, I stream most content. Fingerprint sensor is fast and reliable, as well as facial recognition.
Lack of Google support got me however. Using work-arounds like APKPure and GBox has been ok but not great for a basic user, and the security of your accounts are a bit of a fear.
Overall a decent phone for temporary use, or for someone who just needs a device to communicate quickly and using basic social media.

if you guys wanna fully utilize the performance of the phone make sure to always turn on the performance mode this make everything faster.. no worry about the battery because its still long enough to drain empty even with the performance mode.. this from my experience using this phone for almost a year now..

this is best phone for me the best long battery life when you using data or wifi the phone not heating unlike the other device the best smooth working. i recommend this phone for all. good camera very smooth and also the battery long life. i buy 2 phone for me and for my wife because of battery life and not heating when using data and wifi. i recommend this phone to all buy it and worth it for price❤️❤️❤️

Renzo, 06 Dec 2022When last did anyone get an update on their huawei y6p? My wife has a Y6P as second phone and the last update was July 2022. I think this model is getting updates every 6 months now, so maybe I will inform here once it receive another update in Jan or Feb 2023. Previously, the updates were every 2 or 3 months. The phone still performing smoothly and is a battery beast.

the battery lasts for 2 days if you don't use it in gaming or social media.
