U can download apps from there. Use MoreApps to search for google apps and u will find how to download them(most of them are thru 3rd party app called ApkPure). I have P40 Lite and everything works fine.

no problem dude. The easiest way to "download" aps (Messenger,viber,whatsapp the most popular apps) are to use phone clone when u transfer ur data from old phone , then u dont need to download it as it will be installed when u transfer the data. If u dont have any data to transfer then u can use AppGallery to download the aps. Some apps wont be available to download cuz they are still working on bringing them in. That wont be a problem cuz u have a 3rd party app called ApkPure where u can download it from. The easiest way to download it its by using app called MoreApps as it guides u from where can u download it.
Srry for the long text, just wanted to be very clear :).

This is possibly the most useless phone in existence. You cannot download GooglePlay or Uber. It's the most user-unfriendly phone. Huawei does its consumers a huge disservice by selling an inferior product due to its incapabilities for users to be connected to the apps they want to connect to. All Huawei can ask at every prompt is the right to use your data ad infinitum.

Not even the P40 Pro+ (which costs 1400 Euros according to this site) can install it officially. One of the worst presidents ever (coming from someone who lives in the US) banned Huawei from using Google services, due to the ongoing trade war between the US and China. And I know that's not what you meant, because if it was, you wouldn't have criticized it for being a "third class phone."

Plz dont buy huawei y7 p. It can not even install facebook messanger. Just waiste of money. To much third class mobile.
