Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) with pop-up selfie camera launched in India

Huawei has launched its first pop-up camera smartphone in India - Y9 Prime (2019). It's priced at INR15,990 ($230/€210) and will be sold online exclusively through as well as through offline retail stores across the country.

You can pre-book the Y9 Prime (2019) from August 5 through retail outlets like Croma and Poorvika, and if you do, you will get Huawei Sport BT headphones and a 15,600 mAh power bank worth INR4,598 ($65/€60) for free.

The smartphone will be available for purchase on for Prime members on August 7, with general sales commencing from the next day.

Talking about the specifications, the Huawei Y9 Prime (2019) is powered by the Kirin 710F SoC which is paired with 4GB RAM. It's built around a 6.59" FHD+ notch-less LCD and comes with a 16MP pop-up selfie camera which is one of its key features.

Around the back, the Y9 Prime (2019) has a triple camera setup which is a combination of a 16MP main, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP depth sensor modules. The front and rear cameras all come with AI-powered features and 3D Portrait retouching.

The Y9 Prime (2019) boots to Android Pie-based EMUI 9.0 and has 128GB of onboard storage with the option to further expand it up to 512GB via microSD card.

The smartphone comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, packs a 4,000 mAh battery, and will be offered in Emerald Green and Sapphire Blue colors.

9x coming in one or two month with high specifications so no need to launch in india this time

Worst case scenario? No A3 is a better deal overall
