FBI, 24 Oct 2008I've been using an Imate Jam .JAM has this new knack of rei... morehey dude u are facing this prob due to ur own cause b.coz if u concern with its menual then u have full detail and answer of ur question.
Well i am using this product since its launching date so i can say with 100% guarantee this a fabulous product in mobile world where u get a chnafe to load unlimited recoreded call and contacts.
So my forst suggesion to u, Re-Start ur cell by swithing the Re-Start button with the help of styllus ans the tap all the corner wherever its deman and then set it as u want .
Incase if u find trouble again then in that case i silmply recommend u ----go service centre otherwise there is no other option to solve this problem.

Ali, 20 Oct 2008I've been using an Imate Jam for 3 years. There have been a... moreyup, i've had the same problem, the battery died, then the backup battery died too while i was camping, then all the contacts were lost from the phone. luckily i had a backup on my pc, so 90% were lost.
it's time for an upgrade :)

I've been using an Imate Jam for 3 years. There have been a lot of problems recently that I require help on.
1 - Ever since January this year, the JAM has this new knack of reinstalling Windows everytime it restarts? Due to this, my entire contacts, messages, any data on phone memory was erased. The first thing I wanna know is how to stop it from reinstalling and if there is any way I can recover the lost data?
2 - The battery shell on the outside has a spot which pushes the master on/off switch in the back. Since the battery cover has been loosened, everytime the cover comes off, the set goes off. In order to rectify this temporarily, I've shoved in a hard piece of paper to keep the switch on, but that wont allow me to put the battery cover back on again. Is there a solution to bypass the master switch permanently?
3 - AS of late, the backup battery indicator has disappeared and I continuously get a message that the backup battery is low and should be replaced. Is the backup battery inside the set or is it a battery reserve?
I would really appreciate answers to this as it has also happened to someone else I know with a JAM. Please help.
