Hey Spicy-world at hotmail...to set your ringtones as mp3...just go to FILE EXPLORER...select MY DEVICE...then WINDOWS...find RINGS...that's it...just copy your mp3's in there...ok...hey mate...now, i also need a favor...do you have the user manual for this device in eletronic form(.txt, pdf, .doc)...or at least know where i can download or view it online??? thanxs...enjoy your mp3 ringtones...

hey... i just got a new memory card for my i mate JAM and am still unable to figure out how to install software on the memory card rather than the phone's internal memory. i have some large softwares which i do not want to put in the internal mem so as to avoid over loading it. so plzz kindly anyone let me knw how to install software to your memory card. Thanzzz

i have had i-mate jam for over a year, i had to send it for repair and after sturgling for 3 days with tech support, they sent me info on where to send it in the u.s. it came back in worse condition and wi-fi option did not work. i-mate is only good if it does not give you any problem but if it has any glitch then you are screwed as tech support is not very knowledgeable and is only available online, so if you have got few days to spare to work only on your problem then you will be ok otherwise you better look for a new pda.

i think i-mat jam is not good ppc because it dosent have orgonomic design 2-internal memory is very low 3-it hang alot 4- if you want to set one mp3 as a ringingtone you must do many thing you must kill your seif
i think Eten m500 ia the best and cheapest ppc in the world

setting mp3 file as a ringtone
first select your mp3 file which you want o set as a ring tone and taping on it copy that file
after this tap on browes and go to windows folder in windows folder go in to ring folder
then paste that file in ring folder
then go to start menu ->settings->phone
then select that ring tone that will be
appers in it (mp3) tap on ok
mp3 ring tone will be select
ok

guys i have a problem i.e; when ever i am going to recive a file from other mobile via bluetooth it accept the file and also store it. (the file greter then 1.5 MB) but i don't know that where it store that file i have search all the folders and files but i am not able to find that file which is greater then 1.5 MB kindly help me by mailing my i will be very thankful to u for ur kindness

the batterie of my i-mate jam dropped. i put it in charge and i'm having only the screen as follow:
