its just about a few hours that i bought a I-MA... morepress the two - keys near the telephone keep both of them pressed then keeping them presssed, press the reset button on the back n follow the instructions on the screen.
NOTE: this will reset all the data

Its a good phone. But now a days, its getting shut down automatically. Can upgrade it to Windows 6? any help plz...

I own an Imate JasJar phone with which I am able to browse at hot spots or when connected to my notebook using Active Sync. However my attempt to use it in areas with GPRS such as Nigeria has failed. Despite configuring the device as directed by the Network I get the following error messages: "The page cannot be found. Check the name and try again" This message comes up when the device indicates that it has successfully logged unto the net.
The second type of message I get is "Cannot connect for an unknown reason. To check your connection settings and change them if needed, tap Settings. If the problem continues, reset your mobile device according to your manufacturer's documentation and try again" I have complied with the above advice with no success. The device uses Windows Mobile 5.0.
Is there anyone who can give me a clue on what to do. The Network providers do not seem to have a solution. I am wondering if the device's OS cannot browse on GPRS system. Bosunojay

My phone seem to be slow when I use the active sync to recieve e-mails. Is this a genaral prob or just my phone?

It will sync with Vista. I'm using it with Vista, no problems. It is clunky, but I'm using it to test Win mobile 5.0 software, so it's ideal. It won't be leaving my home or I might need a reinforced pocket and a big pair of baggy pants.

Hi,
I have brought this set in a used condition and i have been using it from the past 4 days. When ever i connect it to the computer and downloads from heavy files or whenever i put it into downloading or if i uses GPRS internet over the phone after sometimes the phone`s Screen just goes BLANK or it just shows LIKE FIRES OVER THE SCREEN...
COULD SOMEONE HELP ME OUT THAT WHAT IS THE MAIN PROBLEM WITH THE SCREEN.
