Hi there,
I just bought a jasjar last week, as you all say, the battery life is horrible, has to be plugged in everyday, but that's probably because I'm working on the phone too much as I'm still trying it and puting on software and stuff. Also the WM5 version that came on the phone was really bad and I had to soft reset the phone every couple of minutes, but when I downloaded the upgrade from the website for free, the phone is just fine right now. And about the processor speed, this phone is okay but not as fast as you might think unless you install spb pocket pc plus addon which makes the phone much easier to use and much faster. The camera is just excellent, and it adjusts the exposure in dim lighted areas just fine, it's perfect and it's better than some of the 2.0 megapixel camera phones on the market.
Overall, it's a nice pice of hardware in a shitty package and loaded with lousy software, once you fix all that, it's a great PDA.
P.S they should cut down the price to half and they shouldn't put this stupid windows mobile on it (symbian UIQ recommended).

this is a best phone ,I had ever used, powerful processor, image quality is good, battery life is also very good, over all the phone is great,a little bulky but its ok,I like this phone alot

I have ordered this phone today, but still I do not know anything about this phone and its features. I didn't even compare this phone with others. So please tell me the truth whether this phone worths buying. Also tell me that whether this phone has suffered from any problem so far or not? Thanks! But I don't know why?, but I think I have made a right decision.

DONT BUY THIS PHONE, ITs the worst phone i have ever got specially when related to it's price, i got this phone 3 weeks ago and was really into it and it's high technology, i took a long time surveying the phone before buying it and all the opinions was against me however i bought it with an intention that i will not upload lots of data and concequently i will never face software troubles, i got into this site and searched people's opinion about the phone and despite the fact of being strange to me to find all the opinions are positive i thought they are true and took my decision buying it, after 2 days i started sufferig software problems however i was flexible enough to accept it once a day since i know i am a heavy phone user with like 3 hours talking each day, i started feeling that the battery is too bad and i accepted that telling myself that it's my problem talking too much (However the Nokia was doing the job) then the software problems started to increase till the phone got completely not working, i was surprised to go to the service center in Mussadaq dokki and find the worst treatment ever, i raised a complain asking to get my phone fixed when they told me go to out site on the internet and download the software, i said the phone is already not working how can you figure out it's a software problem and how can i upload a software for a phone that is not working, the reply was then pay 3ooEGP and we will fix it??!!!, did i buy the most expensive phone in the market to add 300EGP fixing it after 3 weeks of the purchase cause the guarantee doesn't cover software problems, i asked to post a complain they took my data and told me they will call me back to tell me the solution and waited for a day they didnt call so i called again they told me we will call yu back and didnt call till now, how poor this service is, i sent a complain to imate themselves on the address Support@imateclub.com and they didnt pay any attention to it, DONT BUY THIS PHONE IT'S HORRIBLE, I AM HAPPY TO RECIEVE YOUR CALL AND GIVE YOU THE DETAILS ON MY PERSONAL MOBILE +209990789 I AM SELLING MY MOBILE ANYWAY AND NOT DEALING WITH THIS BRAND ANYMORE, IT'S MY ADVICE FOR YOU TO TAKE IT OR LEAVE IT, BUT IF WE TAKE IT DEFINITELY WE WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS COMPANY IN THE FUTURE WHEN THEY LEARN HOW TO PROVIDE A BETTER SERVICE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS.

the processor of i-mate jasjar is ((Intel Bulverde 520 MHz processor)) and the processor of Qtek 9000 is (( Intel XScale 520 MHz processor)).
what is difference between Intel XScale and Intel Bulverde ?
and what one is beter ?

I want to buy jasjar. Does its address book support wild character search e.g. searching by any set of characters sstored in a particular contact or can FA127 software of Casio can be loaded in it. If not any other PC phone which supports it

I have just bought a silver-coloured keypad for the JasJar from eBay, to replace the one that came with my JasJar. (The red characters on the dark brown keys are hardly readable and has been a pain since I bought the JasJar.) Does anyone know step-by-step how to open up the JasJar to replace the keypad?

I absolutely loved mine but putting it into a damp purse blew the main board and it cannot be repaired at all. Its totally worthless after just 12 months. So if you buy one, keep it in a plastic bag.

hi all - i just bOught a secend hand Jasjar from india & i want to upgrade its ROM, but my handset is already registered at imate(by previous user), hence i have registered with some other IMEI nos(some it got registered), now can i upgrade my JJ with some other IMEI nos, will it or will not effect my JJ. kindly advice.

Well,I,ve O2 Exec and Obviously I adore it.I want to know if it is possible to use or view indic phonts on this i.e. Jasjar or Exec,more precisely Devnagari and Marathi/Hindi phonts?Please anyone,say yes and tell me how;waiting for a reply,bye.

now this is what called mbl pnh..a computer..a PDA...looks wise its ultimate..
and abt the features its awesome...but the only drawback is the camera..only 1.3mg pxl.
