wow..i have been using this fone for almost 9months and at first i was really happy to have this pda and i still am...the casing doesnt easily get scratched even though i have been throwing it around in my pocket with lose change and keys...the sound quality is great...i had recently purchased a 2.5 to 3.5mm converter and tried out my bose headphones and the music sounded great..if not better then the sound quality my pc provides...the performance is superb...thanks to its intel xscale 512mhz processor and reasonably big memory...and since i had it i havent had very few problems so far using it as a phone compared to other pdas...and it also has a very good network reception...the downside however is that the ram is shared between programs and other storage...which has been reolved with the wm5 os...and it sucks knowing that there is no wm5 or newer version of the OS that has been released for this pda...unlike the old pocket pc which has a wm5 available for it...and i love the fact that it has preinstalled simple wireless manager which lets you access and handle dfferent wireless connection (bluetooth, Infra red, Wifi) all at one place...over all i would rate it as a 8 on a 1 to 10 scale...if only all those pocket pc gurus would more effort into it and give enough support for it so they'd release a wm5...

i have a I-mate for more than a year , quite happy with, the telephone was it at best but overall was ok. frequent "freezing" made me to reset it quite few times. now after the last time use, when trnasfering some conta ct via bluetooth connection did freeze (also i believe the batery was preety flat), i did reset it and never come back also seems that is not recharging, so i guess it may be a more grave problem, if someone could help in this i would be great...thanks alot

Beware! The sync/charging connector is flimsy and delicate.Mine lasted 12months before starting to give charging problems before finally falling out. The UAE distributors wanted 1400dhs($400) to replace just the connector!....

I still have this device and it works great. It is very fast and zippy compared to all the new devices and the sound of the speakers is much better with this device. Wifi though on this device is not all that great. Iff this device came with a VGA screen it would have been awesome.

forgot to add, that the new album sucks, can't save all your pictures to one folder and instead it creates a new folder everytime you take pics

I have had 2 pda2k,3 hp6365,1 imate pocket pc in the last 2 years
I bought my pda2 second hand and its worked perfectly just like the older ppc, these devices are much more robust than the other types I"ve tried which is why I decided to update my ppc to pda2.
This model has the added benefit of wifi, much better widcomm bluetooth stack, much better camera, although the faster cpu hasn't made any difference in speed and the battery life is a little bit less.
I really like it.

I'm repurchasing an imate PDA 2, having tried them all, including jamin and 2k. with the processor speed at 520, im hoping this to he even faster than my Favorite of all, the original imate 2. what an awesome device, im hoping this is as good as the original.the fact i have all my music on it, plus, its a good phone, internet browser, email client, and excel viewer puts it a class above the i pod. very pleased with this device.

This device is quite quick. Only problems is call quality and reception. It takes 2-3 minutes after starting phone up to find reception. Usually have dropped calls and the reception is unstable. Every thing else works well. I rarely use the phone on this device and with that GPRS/Phone turned off I get 5-6 days before having to recharge.
