Wow slow down with criticising this phone. i have the SPV version and there is nothing (nothing you wold expect from a piece of technology) i can not do with it. All the applications are out there (visit Modaco.com), there's the firmware lock that can be removed(legally,Orange application) and a new ROM (Orange at least) that comes with WMP10 that HAS mp3 as ringtones. It's superbly compatible with any brand(Microsoft or Symbian, or any BT technology) this is a phone you never get tired of. At this price i give it an A++. It is amasing!

Can someone clarify the difference between the sp3 and the sp3i. Other than physical design there does not seem to be a difference in specs.

Ok...help with ringtones is here....you guys owe me bigtime:
download music in wma or wav format.
save it on your imate ..storage/application data/sounds.
I tested this and it works, but your storage capacity is very small,, so go easy on the file size. when you go back to sounds and settings you will see your song listed with the other awful songs that are built in to your I-Mate.

I've just bought it yesterday and i'm not familiar with it but how can I transfer some mp3's on it? Thank you

You don't need 3rd party applications to send something via BT.. just go to the built-in File Manager, pick a file and choose Menu > Send via IR :-)
