Himanshu, 05 October 2016

Google has announced the India pricing and availability details for its newly-unveiled Pixel smartphones. In a blog post yesterday, the company revealed that the Pixel will start at INR 57,000 (around $855) in the country.

Specifically, the INR 57,000 price tag is for the 32GB Pixel variant, with the 128GB model costing INR 66,000 (around $990). The larger Pixel XL, on the other hand, will set you back INR 67,000 (around $1,005) and INR 76,000 (around $1,140) for the 32GB and 128GB models, respectively.

As for availability, the Pixels - in Quite Black and Very Silver color choices - will be available for pre-order in India starting October 13. Participating retailers include Flipkart, Chroma, Reliance digital, and more.

"Pixel users will have access to a toll free phone support number along with 54 walk in service centres across 30+ cities in India," the Mountain View, California-based company said in the blog post.
