Latest firmware update fix the corner touch area not responding some times. My experience has been amazing so far. I keep the display at 60Hz and the phone dont even feel warm when playing ML in performance mode. It also allow you to disable almost all the google stuff. Only wuthering waves can make this phone warm at 60Hz

I'm about to buy this phone for Christmas and I have chosen this over POCO X6 PRO for the cheaper price.
I aim to use this mainly for playing games, the demanding kind such as CODM, Genshin, Zenless Zone and Black Desert Mobile. Can this phone handle these games?
I don't care much for the heat that the phone gives off as I have a fan cooler for android phones.

Anonymous, 28 Sep 2024gaming poco and can be used normally but looks infinix for sure it kinda good if you only want an gaming phone and if you have good temp in your area 'cause this phone can easily turn the heat up you enable it to 144hrz, so you should use it with a gaming cooler, so far so good not ghostouching or etc, i recommend this phone if you want to get a phone with good refresh rate and have an good temp.

I have only used it to play Mobile Legends and Honkai Star Rail, and so far after one week of usage, it's good but outside of games, videos, and sound quality, it's pretty bad. I had my UI not responding at least 3 times in one week. I don't even open up multiple apps at once. It even crashes when I was unplugging my earphones. The earphones symbol doesn't disappear after unplug, so I tried to plug it back and unplug it again, and then the UI crashed. I'm not sure how good this phone will be on the long run, unless they don't stop monitoring and updating the software, then it should be fine after a year or two.

coming from infinix zero x pro want to upgrade to a 5g phone, ordered this phone because it's probably the only 12/256 setup i can find within the price range i can afford. at first i was looking at samsung a35 but im not really impressed with the spec. honor x9b is also within the price range but it's still on the weaker performance side.
both of the alternative have ultrawide camera as a plus, but coming from infinix zero x pro and made some research on gt20pro, both of their main camera has around 24mm full frame field of view equivalent, it is quite wide enough for normal use (instead of 27mm-28mm) thats probably why i almost never used ultra wide angle camera on my zero x pro, so i should be fine with gt20pro single back camera setup (plus two useless cameras)
not a camera centric or hardcore gamer, but got a good deals with voucher on shopee MY, managed to score a price below RM1k. should be arrive next week, so cant say anything for now about experience

I don't recommend buying this it has alot of issues when you use it for gaming, especially when you play at 90-120fps..
It randomly crashes mid game, ghost touch, and if I put it at 90 FPS it doesn't even reach 90, it only goes up to 60-70fps when it overheats, even if use a phone cooler it doesn't help the heating problems...

It's kinda nice with limited budget but sadly some of it's features are not working at all. When my notification is on mute but not the others the sounds still come. Until and unless I mute the phone itself the sound still come.

lemme explain in easiest way :
So, this G99 Ultra is tuned by Xiaomi to maximize their camera
Meanwhile, G99 Ultimate is tuned by Infinix to maximize this chipset performance up to 10%
Conclussion : G99 Ultra can maximize the camera but with the same performance

It's a GREAT phone. But I have a very big problem. I have had 2 GT20 in the past month because I thought the first one was faulty. The bottom left of the screen, it's sometimes unresponsive when I press it. let me explain it in an easier way. Imagine you're playing Pubg and someone hits you from far away and you can't see him. So the only solution is to prone. But here's the problem. Because of the unresponsive sensor on the bottom left of the screen. I couldn't prone. It has happened to me more than 5 times. Infinix,if you're seeing this. Please fix it. Cause what's the point of a gaming phone if I can't play games properly
