This phone is good for it's price, very balanced in terms of features, price and performance, but since it's thin I recommend any kind of cooling peripherals (graphene sheet, cooler, etc.) when gaming

redmi note 13 is somewhat better since the hot 50 pro plus has like a curved amoled display which is more expensive to repair

This just becomes the 3rd android phone I'll use for long time. An entry level phone that feels so flagship, no negative comments so far.

I think this is the phone with the highest screen size to weight ratio. It so nice to hold. Just bought this for 9000 php or 155 USD. A crazy good price. 4g is not really an issue. It can do 4.5g which is plenty fast for me. The battery bypass is an amazing feature. All phones should have it. You can set some apps outside of gaming. Which is a whole lot better than Samsung. This let's you use the phone plugged in but not charging. It uses power directly from cable which lowers heat and makes battery last longer. 8 gigs of ram , 256gb storage are also great. As well as the AMOLED screen. The fast charging is decent. Not the fastest but it's fast enough for me. Its incredible at this price it has a charger, cable, phone cover, and screen protector. The only let down for me is the lack of 3.5mm jack. I don't game so the processor is good enough for me.

Used this phone for a few weeks and so far my only concern is the screen because it's a smudge MAGNET. Even when I applied the screen protector included in the box the same thing is still happening, maybe I'm just unlucky since I haven't seen any reviews that points this problem.
Performance wise, the MTK G100 is good enough for multitasking and light gaming, the 5000 mAH battery lasts pretty long when gaming (took about 5/6 hours before I had to charge, game was PUBG with low graphics, high FPS).
The camera used is not bad, definitely not the clearest or crisp when taking a picture or video but usable and good enough for the "thinnest budget gaming phone" (take that statement with a grain of salt).
Overall, I'd recommend to anyone on a budget, but go buy something else if you can stretch your funds.

Bought this phone on December 14th. So far, the phone is good. No problem whatsoever, the camera is decent, and I can capture night and night sky photography too by using the pro mode. For me, it's perfectly worth it for its price

It can connect to 5G WiFi, for the second question its a bit subjective but I still recommend doing all the preventative stuff to protect your eyes.
