i got my phone almost a week ago the phone lags, very slow even i just installed few apps and didnt use it but still lag. how do i upgrade the phone to perform better or fast ? it take almost 1-2 second before it loads.

I just got this phone exactly 2 weeks ago and the issues it's giving me made search for bad reviews about the phone. The phone lags, alarms not consistent, the UX is quite annoying. I also do not like that the app shortcut that was in 40i by swiping the edges of the phone is not available in this version. Infinix is generally a good phone but I hope they can work on this version.

It's now maybe 3-4 months since I got this phone. 6gb ram 128gb ram to be specific. Love the design,mines black but changes slightly when hit by the sun but hey I had to slap a case on it. Not risking it
The build quality is great and I even washed it at the tap and it's ok. Display looks ok to me and better than what Samsung is offering at a similar price. A punch hole is better than a U or is it waterdrop notch?
The performance is enough especially if you are doing normal day to day stuff. Apps stay in ram which I like a lot unlike my earlier smartphone which had 2gb ram😂.
I keep my phone at "120hz" which only happens on system apps alone. 90 hz is where it is most of the time. Casual games are pretty smooth. I don't think you will worry when playing such but when it comes to heavy games stick to low-medium graphics. Free fire max at full graphics is an easy 40fps+, dls 2025 is smooth and didn't see any lag,real racing 3 is smooth. I tried those to test how well it can handle those kind of games but most of the time I am playing casual games which I enjoy more.
YouTube videos play in 1440p which smartphones at a similar price might not allow. I was comparing it to a Samsung Galaxy A31 over here and I think I prefer colors on the Infinix. Vibrant and colorful.
Cameras are okay,48mp rear and 8mp on the front.
Photos are reliable and for social media they could be considered ok. Videos can get to 2k 30fps which even Samsung doesn't offer😂. I was testing the video capabilities 2 hours ago and it handles exposure quite well. No shifts in lighting and you can even lock AE/AF to ensure you are getting what you want. There's no pro mode in here like in the Tecno Spark 30c but hey I can download a third party which can do even better. Both front and back cameras can shoot in 2k.
The phone has 2 back flashes and one of them is pretty bright. Blinding. Might come in handy someday.
XOS has no ads unlike hyper os. I only see ads when watching YouTube 😂. You can uninstall pretty much most of the apps that you might consider bloatware and disable and turn of notifications for those that remain.
Battery is an easy all day even at 120hz. 8-10 hours for me. I am a heavy user.
An easy 8/10 in terms of experience at that price. I can recommend it if you are on a budget.
