If you just want to buy it for this reason then don't buy as it is not certain when they will update Infinix note 10 pro to xos 10 version.

I suggested my friend for this device. Now he is also facing this issues.

I own an Infinix Note 10 Pro for a month, and overall experience is outstanding. From solid gaming to casual photography, this phone is a must-have. Even with the Note 11 Pro and Zero 5G succeeding this, Note 10 Pro doesn't disappoint when it comes to price and performance.
Disadvantages are Overheating and Lacking updates.

This phone is the best price midrange out there now. All these outprice midrangers with mediocre camera base on the prices are horrific. Especially with A series. This phone will compete any of them in terms of performance n gaming. The February update has really improve the battery performance n the system stability. Camera is decent proportionally to the price. Charges super fast. AMOLED screen is overrated. It saturate your display n never gives you accurate colors. They're too deep n never gives natural colors.
A series, Nord, xioami notes, vivo n current infinix note 11 are all overprice.
I'm coming from pixel 5 n the only thing I miss is the camera. Do we actually notice performance difference in phones? We rarely do. If your network is good ur rarely notice anything.
For the android stock, I always tell ppl u don't know how to customize it that it why u think ur UI is bad.
Ihv used 2 flagship phones n few midrangers.
I will say if you're not into photography, videos n a hardcore gamer these midrangers are very capable like the flagships.
I'm really impress with this infinix phone, has never frozen in my 4th month use. I'm not going to chge it anytime soon. Gonna hold it 4 a year n half which I rarely do.
The charging time is cool for me. Since u want to Keep ur phone away from u to focus on whatever u are doing. I never consume it the whole Day. Always left with 35+%. So it takes 1hr to reach 94+.
