Everyone here is just misguiding.
Bought this phone after reviewing tons of YouTube videos. I was confused between redmi note 11 and this infinix note 12 g96. But happily bought a 256gb varient at PKR 41000/-
I faced heating issues and battery drain problem soon after the purchase.
At that time i regret my choice. Here is what i did after that.
-I limit background apps
-I disabled all the preinstalled apps
-In battery setting i limit the apps that were unnecessarily draining the juice.
And that it, the phone becomes trouble free as i wanted. Through it gets heatup while charging but other than that i am very happy with my purchase as below are the pros i am enjoying.
- A vivd,big and punchy amoled screen
- Superior call quality
- Impressive stereo sound ( over Bluetooth as well )
- A very good camera
- Average battery life
- Smooth UI
- Lag free amazing performance ( even in games )
- Giant storage
- No signal dropping issues ( Cellular or wifi )
- widewine L1 supported ( i didnt find any single source say that netflix Hd is supported) but i am happily enjoying fullHd content over Netflix
Below are some negotiable cons
- built quality is good but my phone is a bit curved from back side as battery or some other particle is restricting it to get a proper fit.
- my wife got realme 7 pro and have 67 Watts charging,
That phone charges with blazing fast speed and in comparative with with that phone , this phone charges in ages.
Well it is a very good for the price i had paid. You can buy many used phones in this range but new phone is new and trouble free.

Does this phone have the three finger gesture up that makes an app floating? In my Hot 11s it's called Lightning Multi-window.
Just wondering because the gesture makes the touch unresponsive despite it's disabled in my Hot 11s.
If it still does exist, I'm probably gonna switch to another brand like Poco.

Using it since 1 month, had alot of software bugs, software sometimes not working properly, experienced a few times setting menu become vanish, or dont work while swiping down , then have to restart it for getting it back, notification bubble stucks and dont go away then have to restart its notification permission

I bought the Infinix Note 12 G96 1 week ago. Overall a nice phone for the price, but I went back to use my Samsung A6 (from 2018) and Mi Max 2 (from 2017) because of the experience differences. The Note 12 has lots of bells and whistles but it does not get some basic things right.
Infinix Note 12 G96:
- The touted AMOLED screen is not as vibrant as my Samsung A6. A6's AMOLED is as if its floating on the surface but Note 12 while nice is just not as good after using A6 for years.
- The polishness of the XOS and One UI is so different. Infinix's newest XOS 10.6.0 isn't as smooth as Samsung's One UI 2.0 from 2020. My A6 does not get software updates anymore since 2020 but still more polished than XOS. XOS will reboot by itself from time to time. That sucks!
- My RSS widget apps (e.g. simple RSS widget) refuse to load after a few hours on the Infinix Note 12. Have to delete the widget and re-add then it will load the feeds - only to stop loading a few hours later. My Samsung A6 and Mi Max 2 never have these problems. It is such a basic thing loading text feeds - why Infinix can't get it right?
The Note 12 is completely new but it does not work for basic things like keep RSS feeds loading. Still reboots by itself from time to time. I will keep it in my drawer as a spare phone. Quite disappointed. Hope Infinix will solve these problems with later firmware updates.
I regret my purchase even though the other aspects are good, as it is not as good compared to my 4-5 year old phones. I suggest to avoid Infinix for now until they improve their firmware.

I have bought this This good for its price i got it for only 138 USD its not the most perfect phone but its good
Pros:

Budget Price
Good RAM, Storage & Battery
Cons:
Bad Audio
Cheap Build Quality
Not 90hz

Many things seems nice but i... moretotally agree, infinix really should focus on mic quality on all phones and other audio like noise cancellation mic and stereo recording
redmi note 11 have pro mic quality it can even record 3d stereo audio in videos like iphone
if infinix add 2 or 3 mics with at least 24 bit audio i will switch back to infinix phones
the conclution for now its not the best one to get high value smartphone compare to it price
