I bought one and i must confess it is a good phone. The only challenge is that i have failed to connect it to the work wifi. it is like there are some missing certificates that are needed to connect. I did not have these issues with the note 10 pro.

The only thing that sin this team is that it has no wide angle camera, otherwise it is very complete and efficient!

Heya all,
I'm looking for a new phone after my previous one died (POCO X3 rip) and I'm currently torn between this one and the Motorola Edge 30 Neo (2 budget phones with wireless charging). I'm looking for a daily driver, nothing fancy, not very big on mobile gaming either, I'd like just a reliable device that will perform well/fast on daily use (web, streaming, and calls), with a decent battery, and which will last at least 2+ years.
Any advice on this? Thanks.

Oh absolutely, I daily drive a BBK phone, the vivo X Note, but I wouldn't buy their cheaper than 500 usd phones. I'm sure those are safe too, they just aren't that great.

No, it will likely be much more expensive and the Camon 20 Premier is more than good enough.

The thing I'm looking at is the Tecno comes without any protection like a IP rating etc and without a screen protector. Also the review done by GSMArena shows that the 120hz refresh rate is a bit buggy and works on some apps and doesn't on some. Maybe they will fix that with updates? Also it doesn't have HDR10+/Dolby Vision. The camera is good I've seen I was wondering if I should get the Redmi Note 12 Pro 5g if that launches instead of the tecno as itll be a bit cheaper? It also comes with Gorilla Glass 5, IP53, HDR10+/Dolby Vision. It has a slower processor but it should be fine for daily use? I don't game on my phone. Thanks for the help so far.

Well, the thing is, I prefer anything over Samsung's One UI, so I'd obviusly that the Tecno is better. Anyways, when it comes to the parts that really matter, so the chipset and the cameras, the Tecno is objectively much better, their displays are similar, but the Tecno has less bezels. You won't get many updates, but I don't think that matters, as the best software your phone can have is the one it's launched with.

It absolutely is safe, I have used a Tecno Camon 18 Premier for a couple of months and had my banking data on it, payed with it too using Google Wallet and I'm currently doing the same with the Infinix Zero Ultra, which is a phone from basically the same company, so yeah they are both safe. Ads are a no, but there will be bloatware on it, most you can just turn off or delete tho, and the storage is huge so it shouldn't bother you.
