Xiaomi might be worth looking into, Samsung at these prices is a definite no go.

Nope, it's perfectly fine for regular daily usage.

I wouldn't expect many, unfortunatelly.

In that case if they still sell that in your country, then you should absolutely get that over any Note 30 series phone if the cameras are important for you, if performance is more important then and only then go for the Note 30 VIP, but if you are looking for the most balanced option then that would be the Note 30 Pro.

The Infinix website is only listing the normal 30 + the 30 pro variant. They did release the Note 12 VIP in my country though. So I'm expecting Infinix to also release the 30 VIP maybe not now but soon? I'm not sure if the Helio G99 will feel slow or not. Also how many updates? The phone is launching for approximately $210 USD. Is there any other options around this price range or if I go up to $300-350? Thanks.

Cons: just a 4g phone, single speaker, lower performance than infinix note 30 5g

You misunderstood me, MIUI isn't terrible or even bad, I prefer X OS over it, but MIUI is good too. Neither of them are good, when it comes to updates.

Neither. What I meant by that was, that I wouldn't trade good hardware for absolutely terrible hardware just to get updates on it.

I'm still looking for a budget phone and fr, I also wanted to buy a infinix phone (infinix note 30 5g) that phone has everything superb that stereo speakers tuned by JBL, bigger display, 45w charging, 256gb storage, 5g connectivity...
Only the software is keeping me back to buy the phone.
And I truly say if you don't care about the updates you can surely go for infinix phones.
