I bought the Infinix Note 5 in late 2018. In terms of graphics and video playback, it's performance is excellent, i give it an A, processor power is tremendous making it perfect for heavy gaming and desktop-web page. Taking selfies is averagely good. Very good to be candid. The only downside is the single or mono speakers. It's okay, but you know the difference when you compare to HTC and other dual speaker phones.
The Android 10 update is a whack, nice GUi that comes at the cost of constant lags. Webpages that used to run smoothly in Android 9 kind of lags in 10. Hopefully, maybe the Note 6 & 7 are better versions of Note 5. All I kind say is Note 5 is the best middle income budget phone I have ever seen. I still use it up till now and I compare many new products from other brands with my Note 5 and they still not are as promising as this phone. So in literal sense, Note 5 is still relevant in the market in terms of specs and satisfaction unless you want to go for super-high end phones.

Ray, 07 Apr 2020Having exact same issue after the android 10 update After the recent update, it gives wrong number of connected devices on the hotspot and there's no way to set number of maximum devices that can connect to the hotspot. Very annoying though.

It feels like waste of money for phones like this, developers can't help with a lingering issue over the latest update. Your phone will hang once it gets locked you'll have to restart to do anything. Mine just started only for me to notice there's been an issue on the update since last year. This is terrible, something needs to be done.
