The Vivo X Note clearly takes inspiration from the Huawei Mate 20X with its 7.2-inch screen, but honestly, it just feels like Vivo took the X80 Pro, stretched the display to 7 inches, and called it a day. There are quite a few drawbacks compared to the Vivo X100 Ultra, whether it’s in performance, camera quality, or overall refinement. It doesn’t really bring anything new to the table just a bigger screen without much thought put into the rest of the device.

Oh, you are misinformed, and know nothing about me. I've got an Infinix Zero Ultra as well, really like that phone too, always did, and while that was Infinix's 2022 flagship, it wasn't exactly a high-end phone.

"And yet, when it comes down to it, you're still clinging onto a 2022 Vivo X Note.."

Yeah, because I like this device and it has no issues, plus it's the biggest phone with flagship (at the time of launch) hardware in it on the market, which is why I bought it in the first place.

"..still stuck with a device powered by the infamous Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 the chipset notorious for overheating and throttling under the slightest pressure."

Please do yourself a favor and watch a teardown of the vivo X Note and look at how large the cooling is in it. I've got no issues with performance, no overheating or throttling either.

"So tell me where’s that Xiaomi 15 Ultra you keep worshipping? If you truly believe in what you preach, why haven’t you upgraded?"

I'm not worshipping that phone, it's simply better than the S25 Ultra, that's all there is to it. I haven't upgraded to it, or anything else, because I don't need an upgrade, and I don't want a Xiaomi phone either.

For months, you’ve been parading yourself as some kind of authority on high-end smartphones someone who demands only the best, the fastest, the most cutting-edge technology. You talk as if anything less than perfection is beneath you. And yet, when it comes down to it, you're still clinging onto a 2022 Vivo X Note like it's some kind of technological masterpiece.

Let’s be honest this isn’t about money, is it? You’ve had no issue bragging about premium devices, acting as if you're above anything mid-range. But here you are, still stuck with a device powered by the infamous Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 the chipset notorious for overheating and throttling under the slightest pressure. You ramble on about top-tier performance, yet you're running software that's two generations behind. You claim to care about photography, yet your camera hardware is laughably outdated compared to modern flagships.

So tell me where’s that Xiaomi 15 Ultra you keep worshipping? If you truly believe in what you preach, why haven’t you upgraded? Oh, wait perhaps you’re just another loudmouth pretending to be a tech enthusiast while secretly settling for mediocrity?

Because let’s be real—if you actually valued high-end technology, you wouldn’t be making excuses for holding onto an ancient device. You would act, not just talk. But you? You’re just another self-proclaimed expert who thrives on pretending, rather than actually keeping up with innovation.

At this point, you’re not a tech enthusiast you’re just someone who enjoys the sound of their own voice. The harsh truth is, you’re not leading the conversation you’re desperately clinging onto relevance while the industry moves on without you.

So no, this isn’t just ironic it’s utterly pathetic.

The previous model of this Infinix series was priced at $250 last year, so the estimated price range for the new model should be around $220–$270, depending on the country.

After checking the price in Indonesia, I found that the 8GB/256GB variant is available for just $190.

Here are my best alternative recommendations:

                    1. For those who don’t need a microSD slot, the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is a great option, priced between $270–$310.

                    2. For those who prefer a microSD slot, the Realme 12+ is a solid choice, priced between $250–$300.

                    3. The Infinix Note 50 Pro 4G model is best suited for short-term use (2–3 years). It offers plenty of features, including 20W MagSafe wireless charging, which is impressive for the price. However, for long-term use, it may not hold up well due to its lower-end chipset."

What are you on about? My phone has 5G, I just don't need those speeds.

5G isn't nearly as big of a jump compared to 4G, as 4G is compared to 3G. I'd rather have better cameras, faster charging and a better build quality than 5G.

You've collected many of your favorite flagship smartphones, and most of them are high-end devices. You seem comfortable with a 4G connection, but deep down, you know you truly need a flagship phone to experience the best performance without any limitations—especially with super-fast 5G speeds, up to 5 times faster, for just $30 at 300Mbps or $75 at 1Gbps.

From the Samsung S4 to the Vivo X200 Pro, the speed of browsing the internet has improved significantly. Today, faster speeds can provide more convenience by cutting down wasted time—whether it's loading, downloading, uploading, creating content, programming, or rendering. It’s like traveling from home to work or across the world—riding a motorcycle versus taking a train, or driving a car versus flying a plane. The more time you save on the journey, the more time you have to enjoy the destination.

Are you really okay with settling for slower speeds?.

Anyways, there will be an Infinix Note 50x with 5G, and a Note 50 Pro+ with 5G, so just wait for those, or get a 5G phone from another brand, or an older 5G Infinix, there are countless OPTIONS, and that's all this is about, OPTIONS.

The Note 50 Pro already offers a ton of features, including a newer Android version, that the Realme 12+ does not, but the Realme has a faster SoC and 5G. People can choose the device that has more features that are important specifically for them. Between said Realme device and this Infinix, I'd go for the Infinix, but I'll get neither, because I'm waiting for the Note 50 Pro+ 5G, because that will likely have a periscope camera.
