Infinix Note 50 Pro+ unboxing and hands-on

This is the Infinix Note 50 Pro+ and it's about as well-equipped as a mid-range phone can be. It's not exclusive to the specs sheet either - the phone ships in a very well-stocked box. You get a 100W charger, a USB-C cable, a tempered glass screen protector, a nice textured case with a MagSafe-style metal ring, and USB-C earbuds.

The Infinix Note 50 Pro+ has a 5,200mAh battery with support for both 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. Infinix has supplied us with its 50W MagCharge wireless charger, which snaps onto the phone with the case. It also works with Qi 2 or Apple MagSafe devices as well - neat.
When the phone is charging, you get a nice multi-colored notification light on the back. The LEDs surround an interesting health sensor, which is used to detect both heart rate and blood oxygen levels, which it then syncs with Infinix's Health Manager.

The phone runs XOS 15 on top of Android 15. It's very serious about AI - you get an Xboost AI Game engine and a new AI assistant, Infinix calls Folax. It brings an AI Eraser, an AI Cutout, AI Writing, AI Note, and an AI Wallpaper Generator.
The phone runs extra smoothly thanks to a 144Hz AMOLED display and the 4nm Dimensity 8350 with 12GB of RAM (expandable by up to an additional 6GB from the storage).

The custom health sensor isn't the only interesting thing on the back of the Infinix Note 50 Pro+. There's a triple camera with two 50MP 1/1.56-inch sensors for the 24mm f/1.9 wide, and the 70mm f/2.4 3x zoom camera - that's an impressively big sensor in a zoom, putting phones like the Galaxy S25 Ultra and iPhone 16 Pro Max and their respective zooms to shame. The third camera is an 8MP ultrawide, while on the opposite end is a 32MP selfie shooter.

Finally, here's a look at the Infinix Note 50 Pro+ next to the Note 50 Pro 4G. The two share a lot of DNA, including the design and build, the display, the battery capacity, and the main, ultrawide, and selfie cameras.
The Plus model adds the zoom camera, the faster 4nm Dimensity 8350 SoC - the Pro 4G has a 6nm Helio G100. The non-Plus model also has slower charging - 90W wired and 30W wireless.

Both devices feel impressively robust. They're well made and have a definite quality to them. We also love the matte metal frame design. More to come soon!
