I have a Infinix Note 7 and releasing this phone just a few months after mine is so disappointing.
However no notable upgrades are present spec-wise. A G80 processor is just an very minor upgrade in GPU clock over the G70. A 64mp camera just uses upscaling, like the Note 7 which only has a 16 mp camera in the back (as far as i remember, which is reported by the system) so definitely it uses upscaling. Type-C with a 2.0 speed is meh, just following a hype (unless it's 3.0 speeds, now we're talking). The rest? Nah. Not worth the upgrade but unless they're putting the phone on the same price as the Note 7, then it would be a shame for those who bought the 7 previously.

Infinix still have a long way to go. They need to understand that their competitors are Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo, Huawei and Realme... $200 is a lot for a phone that the Redmi 9 is better than. Come one they can do better than that. 6.95 inches with 720p in 2020?

Anybody else saw the video where MKBHD praised this phone's 720p screen media experience and single usable camera

It is interesting, I wonder what the price will be for this? I expect it to be no more than 250 $ though because Infinix is good value for money.
