Anonymous, 24 Aug 2024Inifinix phone's are highly disappointing when it come... moreIt's only your ears that are the problem, don't turn up the volume too often close to your ears. Hah, I myself can hear the volume at 40% on the Infinix clearly in a closed room, if I'm outside, 100% can still be heard clearly, except when it's in a noisy area, it's natural that I can't hear it. If you complain that Infinix's bass sound is not enough, try the official loudspeaker app and please keep your ears too close to the phone, it will worsen your hearing

Inifinix phone's are highly disappointing when it comes to speaker performance. . often time they offer stereo speakers yet loudness or quality whatever you prefer...they sound terrible...
I used Note 40 pro, Note 30, Hot 40 pro and so on...but each of them sounded horribly bad.. Most annoying part is that none of them are particularly loud..as a result at times it feels like you are playing music at 50-60% volume...despite pushing the slider to 100%. Its embarassing especially if you want to watch any videos with your friends,as often time they will ask you to increase the volume, not realizing that it was already pushed to max, these phones just doesn’t sound "full volume, its like Infinix purposely limited the volume so that they can give " quality sound", speaking of quality, well...this so called collaboration with JBL or DTS, just doesnt cut it.. I understand... Infinix intends to create a bassy sound stage, . But they end up muting vocals, treble in the process... And its not like that the bass really works...there is no real bass to begin with..its
just the back part vibrating a lot, giving a false impression that these are bass.
Honestly even 150 rupees single bottom firing speakers of realme, xiaomi, oppo phones sounds a lot better.

The phone itself hasn't been revealed yet, but there's already advertising of it on the shopping mall where I work at here in Maracaibo (Venezuela) and since I got to take a pic of said advertisement, I have some of the key specs of it (possibly of 4G model as 5G variants usually aren't sold here):
-6.78" curved AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass protection
-108 OIS wide + 50 MP + 2 MP rear cameras
-512 GB storage, 8+8 GB RAM
-Stereo speakers tuned by JBL
-Infrared port
-GoPro compatible
-265$ price
-Two confirmed colors: pink and green
If you all want to see said advertising (it's in Spanish though), here you go: https://imgur.com/gallery/B6raOh3

XukoNic, 22 Aug 20244g in 2024 is crazyNot really since there are still lots of places without 5G networks. Heck, it's still not hard to find places with slow or unstable 4G coverage in 2024, especially at rural areas.

Anonymous , 22 Aug 2024What's the price estimation according to specs? Anyone... moreIt's sold for RM1699 (vendor leak) in Malaysia. (Zero 40 5G specifically since this page is about 4G for some reason)
As for this phone, it seems to be Infinix's version of Tecno Camon 30 series but it's a shame that series isn't sold in Malaysia. I would love that phone simply for the design. Just compare it to this Infinix Zero 40 5G. Anyways, I'm not planning to support Infinix/Tecno as a daily driver for now because for a midrange phone, I'm expecting 3 year OS support minimum and both currently promises 2 year (Android 14 to 16) so far which is too little at this price. Would make for a great secondary phone though!
