iPhone 16 Pro Max to have the world's thinnest bezels

Apple's upcoming iPhone 16 Pro, expected to launch in September, will have the thinnest screen bezels ever, according to two new reports from Chinese tipsters. One of them even gave us exact sizes. The iPhone 16 Pro's bezels will be 1.2 mm, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max will take things even further with 1.15 mm bezels.

For reference, the same source says the iPhone 15 Pro's bezels measure 1.71 mm, so while the difference won't be huge, it will be quite obvious when you look at these devices side-by-side.

The iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will thus surpass the Galaxy S24 line, and all other devices that have been launched so far in history, to make the dream of a truly 'bezel-less' front as close to reality as it's ever been.

The iPhone 16 Pro is expected to get the iPhone 15 Pro Max's 5x Tetraprism telephoto, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max has been rumored to get a new 48 MP ultrawide as well as a higher-density battery.
