iPhone 17 Pro's shocking design detailed
You may have expected the iPhone 17 Air to be the most talked about in the family come September, with its record thinness, but that may not be the case. It now seems like Apple is also preparing a significant revamp of the Pro models.
Thus, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will return to using aluminum frames, giving up on the titanium experiment after just two generations. The design shocks continue, however. There will apparently be a rectangular camera bump on the back, which will be made of aluminum rather than glass.
But wait, there's more! The back will be made out of aluminum at the top and glass at the bottom, so in effect there will be an aluminum camera hump on an aluminum rear panel. The bottom glass will allow Apple to continue supporting wireless charging. The camera bump will also be larger than the one of previous models, but that's not really surprising since this trend has been observable for a while now.
If this pans out, it will be the most significant design change for Apple's high-end models in a few years. For what it's worth, the source of this rumor has a very good track record, so it might all just be true.
