iQOO 15 certifications bring us one step closer to its unveiling

The iQOO 15 is coming soon - the brand just confirmed some of its specs yesterday. Today, the iQOO 15 was spotted in two certification databases: SIRIM in Malaysia and the EEC platform in Europe. These certifications are necessary pre-launch approval steps, and they signify that we're getting ever closer to the device's official announcement.

The iQOO 15 has the model number I2501, as revealed by these certifications. It's already been confirmed to sport the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, support for wireless charging and USB 3.2, IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance, a 6.85-inch QHD Samsung-made screen with 144Hz refresh rate and 2,600-nit peak brightness, and an updated ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.

Rumors in China are speculating that the official unveiling of the iQOO 15 will take place on October 15. If so, we should get the invite soon. Stay tuned.
