iQOO 15 has LEDs around its camera ring

The iQOO 15 is expected to be among the first devices powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC that Qualcomm is making official on September 23. As we're now getting closer to its release, we've seen its color-changing back already, but the phone will have another trick (or gimmick, depending on how you want to look at it) in its arsenal.

An LED strip surrounding the camera ring. You can see it in the promo image below. Digital Chat Station on Weibo says the camera island will be a tad thick because of the periscope telephoto shooter (that's making a comeback after one year of hiatus).

According to past leaks, the iQOO 15 will have a 6.85-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen supplied by Samsung and capable of 6,000-nit peak brightness, a 50 MP main camera using a 1/1.5" type sensor, a 50 MP telephoto, and an ultrawide. The battery capacity should be between 7,000 mAh and 8,000 mAh, with 100W fast wired charging supported alongside wireless charging.
