iQOO 15 has more specs officially confirmed

Vlad, 02 October 2025

The upcoming iQOO 15 is expected to launch at some point this month, and the brand has recently confirmed a few more of its specs. First of all, the iQOO 15 will have wireless charging, unlike its predecessors. This was long rumored to arrive in the next generation, but it's great to finally have official confirmation as well.

Next up, the phone comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with a new generation ultrasonic fingerprint sensor that should be even faster than the one in the iQOO 13, which first introduced this feature to the line.

Finally, the iQOO 15's USB-C port will support USB 3.2. The handset is already confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm's recently unveiled Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, and boast a 6.85-inch QHD Samsung-made AMOLED screen with 144Hz refresh rate and 2,600-nit peak brightness. Rumors in China claim the official unveiling of the iQOO 15 will take place on October 15 (how fitting).
