iQOO Pad and TWS Air Pro also announced
Alongside its new iQOO Neo8 series smartphones, vivo also announced the iQOO Pad and iQOO TWS Air Pro wireless earbuds. The tablet is nearly identical to the vivo Pad2 but with a Dimensity 9000+ chipset instead of the regular Dimensity 9000 while the buds bring an in-ear design and up to 30 hours of total battery life with their charging case.
iQOO Pad
Like the vivo Pad2, iQOO Pad features a 12.1-inch IPS LCD with 1800 x 2880px resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel features a 7:5 aspect ratio to fit more vertical content and houses an 8MP front facing camera.
The iQOO Pad features an aluminum body which is just 6.59mm thick. The back houses a circular camera cutout with a 13MP primary shooter alongside a 2MP macro cam. The
Dimensity 9000+ chipset is paiured with 8/12GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128/256/512GB UFS 3.1 storage. The tab boots Android 13 with OriginOS 3 on top. It also supports the optional iQOO Pencil stylus and packs a 10,000 mAh battery with 44W fast charing.
iQOO Pad starts at CNY 2,299($326) for the baseline 8/128GB trim and goes up to CNY 3,299 ($468) for the 12/512GB version. It comes in a single grey color and will go on open sale in China from May 31.
iQOO TWS Air Pro
The iQOO TWS Air Pro brings 14.2mm drivers, active noise cancelation (ANC) and a 30 hours combined battery life with their charging case. They pair over Bluetooth 5.3 and support the AAC and SBC codecs.
TWS Air Pro feature an IP54 rating for water splash resistance, dual pairing a Find my Earbuds function and a low-latency game mode. Air Pro are available in white and black/yellow colors for CNY 269 ($38) from May 31.

Good specs for the price, but these tablets provide no meaningful advantages other than price between them and the iPad, since they've dropped the headphone jack and MicroSD slot from their tablets. Waiting for the day when tablets start gaining...
