iQOO Z9S series is coming to India in August with a triple camera
The iQOO Z9 Lite was announced last week and there is more coming from the Z-series – iQOO India CEO Nipun Marya shared a teaser image of the iQOO Z9S series with the words “The wait is over! Brace yourself for a fully loaded ‘Z’ vibe.”
The Z9S series will launch in India in August, which might be as soon as next week – or we might have to wait, Marya didn’t set an exact date. The CEO didn’t offer any details about the “S” version either, but an image is worth a thousand words.
If you zoom in on the camera bump, you will see that this phone has a triple camera. All current Z9 phones have a dual camera, 50+2MP mostly, except for the Z9 Turbo, which has a 50+8MP.
The Z9S, however, has two lenses in the top circle and another lens in the bottom one. The ring LED flash is a new feature too.
The Z9 phones have used a mix of Dimensity and Snapdragon chipsets, so if there is a performance upgrade coming – which seems more than likely, given the “fully loaded for the mega taskers” tagline – we can only speculate on what chip will be used.
The iQOO Z9 that is sold in India is powered by the Dimensity 7200 and features a 6.67” 120Hz FHD+ display, 50+2MP rear and 16MP front cameras and a 5,000mAh battery with 44W wired charging.

I doubt that it will have a telephoto, but it should atleast have an ultra wide.

It's going to be same as Chinese counterparts but with changed processors and it'll be interesting how are they going to manage pricing as Z9 Pro is launching 11 August in India as per leaks. Probably 15 August I think.
