It's fine: all Pixel 9 Pro and 9 Pro XL phones have LTPO displays

Crisis averted – it turns out that the Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL units sold in India, Malaysia and Singapore do indeed have LTPO displays, the same Super Actua panels that the rest of the world is getting. Google has updated the specs listed on the support page that caused this confusion.

There’s more good news – all Pixel 9 phones support Wi-Fi 7 in all regions. This includes the vanilla Pixel 9 and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Google fixed the mistake in the specs listings and added a note that operation in the 6GHz band is available only in regions where local regulations allow it. For example, in India, 6GHz Wi-Fi is not officially sanctioned, but that doesn’t prevent Wi-Fi 7 from working on the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands.

Pixel fans in India, Malaysia and Singapore can breathe a sigh of relief, they are not getting lower quality displays. We have a Pixel 9 Pro XL in for review and a vanilla Pixel 9 on the way, stay tuned for a detailed look.

That's the line in specs that means these devices(pixel 9 lineup) use 8-bit panels, hence the quotes.

24-bit can represent about 16 million colors. What don't you understand?

Funnier is the HDR support right above and this passed quality checks if those even exist at Google anymore.
