Jolla smartphone now available in Kazakhstan

26 July, 2014

The Jolla smartphone that runs on the company’s Sailfish OS is now available in Central Asia. The Finnish firm has associated with Mobile Invest based in Kazakhstan to expand the reach of its smartphone.

The Jolla phone packs a 4.5” display at the front and has an 8 megapixel snapper at the back. There is 16GB of internal memory and you can expand it further via microSD card.

Jolla’s special chassis design, which allows the phone to snap out of the other half will give you access to battery and hence, it can be user replaceable.

The phone will be available in different color options – light blue, green, white and orange and users will be able to change the back covers.

Unfortunately, there is no word on the pricing details of the Jolla smartphone in Kazakhstan, but we know that it will carry a price tag in the range of €400 - €420.
