I have purchased this Karbonn KC-540 for my TATA CDMA sim in Jan-13. I noticed that SMS is not receiving. For receiving SMS I have to swich off the phone & after restarting all pending SMS is receiving in Inbox. 15 day's after my mobile handset is hanged at restarting. I shown this problem to shop owner where I purchased the mobile then Shop Owner sent this handset to Karbonn Centre. The fault is not rectify therefore they give me NEW Handset. In new Handset also same problem. I think all karbonn KC-540 model has same problem. Today my hand set is hanged and lying ideal.

    Very worst phone, mice not work well, cdma sim cant receive sms, when you are on call not able to see contacts and sms, you cant save group contacts.
    i will rate this phone 0 out of 10.

      I have this phone. Cute looking one. But sound quality is bad in loud speaker and via earpiece But large sound. Gsm and cdma works fine. Bluetooth etc has no issues. I use Bluetooth headset also. Display clarity is too good. What I conclude is it looks great but low performace with sound. May be because of low quality speaker. Large but blurred sound.

            Dakota phone. I tried sending a file via bluetooth which was 4MB in size. I had expanded memory with 4GB card. Since the internal memory is 512kB the file was not received. Sometimes the profile changes automatically to silent. It does not cut the call even after pressing red button. If u dial a number and press call the call does not go through and says emergency number only soln was there is another tiny button to make call from CDMA sim. Can't download any ringtone you want. Choose between manufacturer supplied ringtones only please. Speaker at back. Cant hear ringing. My father missed several important calls and we still have not found the reason.
