Makomax, 03 Dec 2023Does it work well with Android 10?Yes it works very well with Android 10. It is not the fastest but it works effectively. I have had mine since early 2020, sadly I am shopping for a replacement.

Have dropp... moreDitto here lbJ, I'm the sort that regularly destroyed a couple flip-phones a year so I had avoided full screen "smart phones" until I read about and purchased the 'Pro 2' and shortly there after, in admiration, a spare, and 3 years later the spare's still in the plastic it shipped in! It has been a year since your post here, If you happen to read this, how is yours? still have a 'spare'? Unfortunately enduring my wrath for years wasn't tough enough for my AT&T data network in California.
I had been using voice and texting with this AT&T 'branded' Duraforce pro2, E6920 with them for a couple years and called 611 to request Mobil Data (internet) capabilities added to my plan and when they instructed me to restart my phone to initiate the new 'plan' my phone QUIT, Couldn't even make a call, no connection to anything, so the next day and after a couple hours with a technician, at the closest 'corporate' AT&T store and whoever they were consulting with on their phone, they finally brought it back to life but informed me that these Kyocera phones are becoming obsolete and not compatible with their new 5G network for mobile data and I can only use it as I had before for text- talking, Ssshhhi"""t, In this fast moving era of irritating 'upgrading' my (thought to be) long time "smartphone" companion Is just another obsolete high tech electronic gadget destine for recycling or the landfill ,,,, enough ranting, where are you located op? I DO hope your spare was a useful foresight.
Other then this att network thing my Kyocera Duraforce pro2 has proven to be, physically, truly tough, functional and durable, battery life is very impressive, android does everything for my purpose's, though I could live without most of the Google bloat , but for me a great device ll other readers I share my experience just FYI. Live, learn & share. ,
A few post back someone was commenting about a electronic waste problem and I concur and hope the following idea is not considered political and moderated for it is expensive and a all around inefficient use of resources for me to discontinue using these devices and I propose the following; ANY MANUFACTURER OF CONSUMER DIGITAL ELECTRONIC PRODUCT MUST WARRANTY AGAINST OBSOLESCENCE FOR THE LIFE OF THE CONSUMER BY UPDATING OR REPLACEMENT TO RETAIN THE INTENDED FUNCTIONALITY WHEN PURCHASED AND PROVIDE FOR THE RECYCLING OF ALL PRODUCTS MANUFACTURED AND SOLD WITHOUT FURTHER expense TO THE CONSUMER.??

Have dropp... moreLove this thing to death, but I just found out that the batteries are not available except through cannibalizing other phones. Mine has been taking a major hit to the charge life of late, down to only about 2 solid hours if used consistently. Might have to finally trade in if I can't get a new one anywhere.

Fantastic phone. Still using this daily in 2023. Have dropped it from 2nd story balcony, left it outside in snow overnight, buried in mud. Not a scratch.
Love it so much I brought a spare just in case it would break one day. Given how indestructible this phone is, that may be a while longer.. LoL

Had DFP 2 for 5 years, no problems so far. Looked at DURAFORCE PRO 3, I like it a lot. If I get a new phone, it WILL be a DURAFORCE PRO 3.

E6910 (Verizon) has too much bloatware. E6920 (AT&T) I have not bought. Note that the $250- on Amazon is for a vendor that says it is a 6921 and then ships you a 6910 Verizon, or did last year.

Where do I start...my husband thought we could use it given our outdoor jobs. The sapphire screen was appealing since I'm always busting screens. My 4 year old threw my phone once and now it has 5 cracks in the screen. In addition, somehow my phone's settings seem to change overnight so I can't put as many apps on my home screen. It's gone into safe mode three times for no apparent reason. I was asleep and it was charging. When it's on safe mode, the screen goes back to how I prefer. Take it off safe mode and it'll stay how I like it until I move or add another app- like a search bar. And finally, it'll randomly freeze and will go into error mode where it looks like a black screen of death with a bunch of code. The phone I more unpredictable than it's worth
