My google app store won't let me get regular apps only books can you help

i had this phone for almost a year and it was nice while i had it but these days these phone is definitely obsolete lol loved the slide out keyboard. it's a shame we don't see more of those these days.

Even though it's pretty much obsolete, it's one of the last slider phones so it's unique.
