Latest Priv Marshmallow beta brings August security patches

BlackBerry has started rolling out another Marshmallow beta update to its Priv smartphone, making it the eighth beta build that has been rolled out to the device. The update weighs in at around 186MB.

Carrying a build number of AAF960, the latest beta update is available for all Privs on the beta program, except AT&T and Verizon devices. As for what's included, the company says "lots of fixes" and Android security patches for the month of August.

"Fixed"? Well sure it is not ideal - but it is still the least bas option out there for a niche group. If you want a hardware sliding keyboard, your alternatives are the five(!) year old Xperia Pro, OR a large case for either an Iphone or an old...

Sorry but this phone can not be fixed. No matter what they roll out, it wont improve its performance. Well it is just nice looking useless phone.
