Lava Blaze 2 Pro unveiled with 50MP camera and more RAM

The Lava Blaze 2 arrived in April with a modest ₹9,000 price tag, now an upgraded Pro model comes with a better camera, more RAM and a slightly higher price, ₹10,000.

Starting with the camera, it features a 50MP main module joined by a pair of 2MP helpers. This is up from a 13MP camera on the regular Blaze 2 and only one 2MP module. The selfie camera is the same as before with an 8MP sensor.

The other notable change is that the Lava Blaze 2 Pro comes with 8GB of RAM as standard, up from 6GB. There is the option to add 8GB of virtual RAM too. The chipset is the same Unisoc T616 as before, the storage is the same too – 128GB built in and up to 256GB more via a microSD card (there is a hybrid dual-SIM slot). The phone comes with bloat-free, ad-free Android 12 out of the box.

The Pro model has the same display as its vanilla sibling, a 6.5” IPS LCD with 720 x 1,600px resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The battery is the same too, 5,000mAh with 18W charging over USB-C, a full charge takes over 2 hours.

The Pro model is a 4G phone again, with Wi-Fi 5 (ac) and Bluetooth 5.0 support, plus a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is a side-mounted fingerprint reader and the option for face unlock too.

If you really say like that, doesn't that make all smartphone priced that much e-waste? Not everyone can (or even need) some $200 Android phone.

they think they don't care, but once they spend their $120 (which isn't even much but still this phone shouldn't even be $50) they'll see their hard earned money went to waste

Why are you posting about some random ewaste no one buys? :-) I think this if a good, solid phone for a lot of people - a lot of people do not care about screen res/best processor etc.
