Hi Lava Team,
Its been 3 months since I have bought this phone now and Kitkat update is still yet to receive. Android L is coming soon, so whats the use of this phone while we are getting as OLD version of Android OS. When we are going to get the stable version of Kitkat update for this phone. As per your promise we were going to get Kitkat update in the month of July 2014...
This phone hangs daily, I have to restart it once a day as the RAM goes on filling at the end of the day and I have no option than to restart the device. Other mobile phones with similar 1 GB ram have at least 50% free ram, but this device when restarted has 25% free RAM? Can you explain this?
After Lava Iris 406Q was released a month later you recently released Lava Iris X1 which has Kitkat pre-installed. This means that there is no value for sold out phones.

Am using this phn since 1 mnth and overall i felt that the phn is vry gud at such cost bt the main two prblms m facing abt dis is....firstly the poor mic which irritates me alot(no clear voice to the reciever)....and the second one is storage capacity i.e., how cn i store any file to my sd card....for eg if i downld any file frm the browser the download dialog box opens with different saving options like Downloads n other.....bt if i chose 'other' saving option den also the file is being stored in internal memory only instead of sd card......who undrstood the prblm pls hlp me if they cn.....

1. whatsapp not working properly.

I love taking photos on my phone and am really happy that the 5 MP camera on this phone comes with a really cool photo editor. I like using the built in editor more than apps like Instagram because in insta, you have to crop your photos and this doesn’t need to be done for this editor. The camera focuses really well and I can direct the focus on different things by just tapping on the screen. It’s quite sharp. To be honest, I would’ve preferred a better front camera as this is just VGA. In terms of the phone itself, the Lava Iris 406Q is great to use as the touch is very responsive and smooth. For a phone priced this low, it’s certainly a steal.

it has only one speaker........
and abt whatsapp its totaly failure ........
unfortunately stop....

This is my first smart Phone.
Im using this phone for past 2 months.
I bought from Flipkart. First time i switched on i was shocked. there was a thum size black spot on the display. I asked for a replacement and got it from Flipkart.
So quality control of this Indian made product must improve.
now to my user opinion.
this is a good phone. U get good features at this price.
display not bad.
processing speed not bad.
multi-processing not bad.
Primary camara not bad.
battery lasts for a day befor going for recharge.
I downloaded many apps, games from appstore and other sources. and all are working fine.
now the negatives.
the RAM mentioned is 1GB but free RAM is about 350MB only after using for 10-15 mins. have to clean memory every now and then using some app.
Display needs to be adjusted for colour & contrast first time. auto- brightness in sunlight as for all phone, it is little difficult to see.
NO OTG so cannot use pendrives.
back pannel is not esay to remove. chances of damaging it is high. also it is very thin.
battery heats up when using graphics intencive app.
internal memory is 4GB but usable is just 1.5GB.
pros VS cons--
70-30.
many complains about calls getting connected automatically. there is a easy solution for this.
select dialer.select the options menu in left bottom of the phone near home key. call settings will come. select the same. 3 options appear.
voice call settings
video call settings
other settings
select voice call settings.
scroll down.
you will see smart calling ticked. just un-tick... thats all!!!
regarding watsapp problem. uninstall the app. download the app from someother source other then googleplay and install. problem solved!..

I also bye a LAVA 406 mobile, when i look box pack very nice but phone is not good look. And battery is very bad. Speker sound very bad.When u net surfing then u feel about your like a hiter.
