This mobile is good for price,but it has many issues
with my 2 weeks of experience i like this mobile,but at the same time it has tested my nerves some times.
the following are the issues i have faced
1. Heating issue : Def this one should be given high priority.
2. Network connectivity: my internet connectivity will be lost and will not start untill i restart my mobile.
3. audio player : even though my playlist will be there but the songs i have added under the playlist will not be displayed untill i restart the mobile.
4. google play store willbe crashed on an average of twice a day.
5.screen viewing angles are not good.considering the price tag i have bought i dont mind this point.but recently many indian brands like karbon,iball are launching 1 gb ram mobiles at the same cost even lesser cost so this once can also be taken as issue.
6. Even knowing of all these issues the lava brand doesnt mind giving the patch for this and they havent cared even i raise a request for the same.

Hello buyers this is Very Gooo Mobile Excellent in this price with 4core Cpu & 4.4 kitkat so neglect the negative posts Promising u..

Lava iris 406q is waste of your money the phone features are quite bad apps get hang u need to remove the battery one or the other apps get hangs and the msg is displays unfortunately ur app stopped

I am using this phone since two days back i appreciated the prize is best as per configuration as in 7 k range nobody giving cord core and 1 GB RAM.but phone is heating too much and facing the problem for connecting the internet through wi-fi then i fond the solution to add the MAC address in wi-fi router and connected succesfully.

The only problem with the phone is that you cant use external card as default write disk you have to transfer manually files from internal card but u can use external card as default disk for applications6

m a user & one of the owner of this phone
first phone had issues but replacement item is working flawlessly (30days return policy in works)
there is no issue with carrier reception
wifi isnt slow but range is limited
good thing is that it supports dual band wifi (5ghz spectrum) but dnt hav dual band wifi router to test
about call receiving & conferencing issue..u r right
there is no lag on this device as of now...not even in previous defective item
i haven't faced a single issue abt voice call
it's loud enough n clear & if u r not able to hear other person...boost volume by clicking first icon during call
regarding update..it was a faulty update..lava removed it
call quality is good
i guess u got a defective piece
ask for replacement

Yesterday i got this phone thru flipkart @ Rs 6999/-.
First exp is nice phone,rear camera quality is good. sound quality and video quality is also good. i will update u soon all other features.

I am nt the agent of any online service or a seller. I bought this phone on 18t hApril from Patna and till now I have no issue regarding this phone..I found full signal on 3G network in my ground floor room, while my husband galaxy s duos found only 2 or 3 signal all time.
I played hard 3d games very smoothly on this phone without ang hanging. Its battery backup is very good. Processor is very good..and we can do several work at a time.
Sound quality is not good for call or music..we can download voice booster from Google apps to solve this problem.. I have done and increased my volume upto 40%.
And in rs. 6700 no other phone can match it..with 240 Ppi resolution.. and 4 inch WVGA screen...I am very haapy with it

I am not vouching for any quality related concerns for LAVA brand but I am reviewing performance related concerns.

This is for information that my Samsung Note 2 has scores of 18224 and 5164
Use your own discretion but any handset with Qualcomm and 1 GB RAM may be worth considering to save huge amount of money on ever depreciating purchase.

I am over sure that those who are forcing you to buy this phone might be the members of flipkart or WS Retails(the seller of this phone in flipkart). Third class phone, not worth rs 4000 also.
I ordered on 13 apr and received on 22 april.
I dont write reviews but this phone force me to write review so that I can help others
My rewies after using 3 days
I reviewed twice and flipkart removes it after 4-5 hours (means flipkart is reviewing only positive reviews from Certified Buyers)
Pros:
1) quad core processor
2) 1 gb ram
3) 5 mp camera
4) Battery life is awesome in standby mode (means I charged is 100% at the time of sleeping about 12 am and in the morning around 9 am it shows 99% battery left )
Cons : (lots of ...)
1) 2G/3G signal reception is very poor (I am a network engineer and know much about signals, if your other mobiles shows you 3 signal bars on its phone then its shows select network)
2) Wifi very very slow
3) Camera: quality good in day light and very poor in room light (we can not expect much more in Rs7,000)
4) Touch is over sensitive (automatic receives call many times and if you are already on another call and if someone else calls you then it receives call automatically and put your first call in hold)
5) This phone starts hanging after using 10-12 hrs and memory shows only 50-70mb left and stops working, then you have to reboot (twice a day)
6) Other Person cant hear you (you have to speak very loudly so that the other person can hear you)
7) Speaker for phone and music is same (means music is loud and the call volume in speaker mode is very very low)
8) Its official update is also not updating and shows an error while updating.
9) GPS very poor/ third class (i am using GPS in city and my Google maps is prompting me that GPS Connection lost lost lost......(it works for 10-20 seconds and signal lost then againg you have to off and on the GPS)
10)Basic call quality is third class
11) In the contact list you can not search any name by typing means it does not supports alphabetic works, it supports only numeric words
If you want to waste your money then this phone is for you.
And if you are thinking that you will get a refund if you wont get a good piece then please read the return policy that this model does not support refund policy, it supports only return with the same model...
Third class phone ...........

you can transfer whats app to SD Card just it will not start with ur phone when restarting phone. itis same for other applications which are not easy to transfer from Phone memory to SD Cards. you can start them manually by opening it
