Now that Windows Phone is being free of license taxes for all sub-8" devices, it has become a really attractive OS to various manufacturers. But this has also lowered the prices of the Windows Phone smartphones as well.

Lava Iris Win1 is the latest super affordable smartphone running on Windows Phone 8.1 that costs just INR 4,999 or €65. The handset features a 4" WVGA display and runs on the Snapdragon 200 chip with a quad-core 1.2GHz processor and 1GB of RAM.

The rest of the specs include a 5MP rear camera with a LED flash, 8GB expandable storage, and 1,950 mAh battery.

Lava Iris Win1 is going to launch in India on December 4 for INR 4,999 (€65). Flipkart should be your destination if you want to buy the device online.
