You can use two sim cards: one slot is for 3g and other one for 2g.
You can play music with google Play music Or you can dowload a player whichever you like from google store.
I have dowloaded subway surf and temple run2 it works decently..Camera is good enough. Clarity will be better on sunlight. Sound is very good. Very good phone with this price.
Only one problem: I am not able to find Sound settings under Settings.
Overall, its good phone and you can go for it.

My purchased LAVA Iris X1 due to its iphone like appearance. Its 8MP Rear camera, 2MP Front camera, Android 4.4.2 OS. Go for it.

Plz guys try to understand.. That lava is not a mobile phone manufacturing company it is only a marketing company. It export from China and labeled the Lava tag.

guys m using this phone irisx1,its gud phone. in every phone there wil be problem.. yes ofcourse even this phone hav proble bt managble.. but really very gud nd great phone in this price...

Hey guys this is an honest review of this phone. I've used it for more than a month and then I sold it on olx and this is my experience:
Lava is an indian company. And as a budget device manufacturing company, they keep in mind the average people while making their devices. The main flaw in the design of these devices is that, THE 4GB INTERNAL STORAGE IS DIVIDED INTO TWO SYSTEM PARTITIONS (1.1GB FOR APPS AND THE OTHER 1.36GB FOR OTHER MASS STORAGE OR AS WHAT THEY CALL "SD CARD").
This is totally un-cool. You buy a device to get more storage and what you get is a low space and a bunch of flaws in the UI. Yes you can insert a memory card. But... after you move your application to the sd card, it simply vanishes after you reboot your phone! AND IT ALWAYS HAPPENED NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO!!! You can check online, you can check on xda devlopers site. Everyone is complaining about this!
Then I tried to use a different memory card. I thought that it may be my card that is causing this trouble. I was using samsung 2GB class 4 memory card. So I switched to a 16GB class 10 (samsung only) and I spent 1200 bucks for it! And you know what happened?? IT NEVER WORKED! I TRIED ROOTING BUT THE KITKAT MADE IT VERY DIFFICULT TO ROOT! SO I WAS UNABLE TO PERFORM THE ROOT! AND IT SHOWED THAT THE CARD IS CORRUPTED! I replaced the order from snapdeal (their service is just mindblowing. the guy never even asked me for a thing and replaced it without any disputes). But you know what??? SAME RESULT!! I TRIED IT WITH MY CARD READER ON MY LAPTOP. AND IT WORKED PERFECTLY FINE!
I know that many people doesn't have a concern about applications. You just love those iphone-ish looks don't you. WELL, I DID TOO!! And you know what happened? One day my brother dropped it from even less than a meter's height and bamm! The side silver bazzle got scrached and not even that! The back got a little damaged just by one blow! Now no matter what I fit there, back cover or the flip cover, it just won't fit perfectly like before!!
It's a releife that I managed to sell the phone and the guy who bought it didn't notice it. Otherwise my money was totally wasted you know!
So please guys, think twice before buying these sort of "good looking" phones. They're just good for photo shooting and for making and recieving calls. NOTHING ELSE!

I have purchased this phone last week. It is an excellent phone. We, Indians, have faith only in MNC brands like Samsung, HTC etc. because Media is paid by them. They will do all sorts of tricks to spoil our Indian Name. But have faith in Indians !!!

3g is awesome but 2g is horrible.it supports otg.battery drains fast.good look and handy.worst cons : low internal memory.camera quality average poor in lowlight.very low music volume.

rose, 01 Aug 2014I am plan to buy lavairis x1 phone any suggession Dont go for IRIS X1 dear my room mate is using this phone from last 1 month but now he fed up.i suggest u go for xolo q600s awesome phone,very slim.i am using this from last 20 days and i am so happy with this phone.

I have found one post on another site where someone says they fixed the apps disappearing from the SD card problem:

I have not tried this & don't know enough about Android to say if it will work or not. I'm putting it here in case anyone wants to try, but I can make no assurances about whether it will work or harm your phone. (I might try it myself later after researching more.)
