Anonymous, 19 Mar 2015can we use another brand headphone for better sound quality??By changing the headphone with a better one will surely gives a better effect, whichever smartphone you prefer..
phone maximum value(Device Hardwire) is fixed by the Manufacturer ..which is very low in case of IrisX8 as compared to any other phone in this range..

Good phone brought it after reading its reviews here and the reviews were accurate about the phone other wise i was going for yureka yu but decided not to buy after going through its reviews.
here is what i have experienced in one month since i bought it
pros.
1. No significant heating even during playing heavy game like ASPHALT 8: Airborne and no hanging or lag in the game
2. good battery life
3.bloatware (pre-installed apps) not present as compared to samsung phone
4. IT HAS 10 MP CAMERA ,is it just me or the camera specification is greater then that mentioned (8mp) on its box and official site
cons
1.theme can not be changed ,third party launcher are required
2. slow battery charging

Long term unbiased review:-
Pros:-
Build quality and design-awesome,u'll love to get ur hands on the phone.
U can show off the smart gesture and flipcover to ur frnds which will amuse them for sure.Flip cover is not a gimmick and its really useful.
Lag free performance.
Decent camera(its not as bad as they say)
Battery backup will not disappoint u.
Screen looks gorgeous.
Call quality is crystal clear and noise cancellation mic does a gud job.
1.3 gb of RAM was free even after installing many apps.
Guaranteed upgrade to lollipop.
13 GB of free storage.
It has many other pros also.
Cons:-
It damaged two of my class 10 sd cards,dunno what the hell is wrong with the phone.
Camera performance is inconsistent. Sometimes u get gud images,sometimes the r unsharp/blurry.
Eventhough i used it very carefully i can see scratches in the screen.
Front camera is average n useable.
Black looks much bolder and beautiful.
The flash over exposes the images...
Thats all about tge phone...

I am using Lava Iris X8 from past 10 days and after experimenting with various features,Here's my review...
All the music lovers please beware of the headphone quality.
It is pathetic, honestly speaking.
I am a hobbyist music composer, and I have tried all the possibilities to get increased sound volume
like: I installed Poweramp music player premium which is said to increase the volume 3 times more ..
tweaking with all the amplifier based players ...I get this result..
1.) Default headset quality is extremely poor.
after changing with original apple headsets, quality improved a lot but volume is very low..
SO THIS IS THE BIGGEST DRAWBACK..
For listening music with headset-- my rating is 0/10, even poorer than phones in the range of 5K-6K...
Rest features are mindblowing ... you will not get better than this in this range of mobiles..
1.4 Ghz Octacore ARM Cortex processor is very good--> no heating issues at all after installing 265 apps, and with 16 GB of inbuilt memory(13.09 GB usable) and an external card of 4GB(3.69GB usable) --I filled the internal & external memory with many movies, mp3's , pics etc leaving 1GB of space overall(internal+external)-
No heating issues, no hanging , and the phone is performing as when purchased from the shop.... my rating 9.5/10...
Camera quality is good --recording and capturing images are satisfactory.. so Primary camera of 8MP-my rating would be 8/10 and for secondary camera of 3MP is average-- I will give 6.5/10.....
IPS HD display 5.0 inch screen-294ppi --I will give 8/10
so Overall very good features except the earphone volume range which is pathetic...
