Camera is not gud.....otherwise all r gud...net speed so fast....no hang problem...no heating.....all r gud except camera.....I m using for 4 months...till now no problem

AnonD-415756, 11 Jul 2015i purchaged lava iris x8 yesterday, since yesterday it has ... moreAll Lava X8 Models needs immediate Software Reset after purchase as in one or another way some function do not work perfectly. So immediatly give it to LAVA CARE (Servicentre) and get it Software resetted. This Company dump the mobiles directly from china and do not care to reset the software in india. I purchased it twice and get software reseted twice from Lava Service Centre.

Very Heavy in Weight, Thick, Camera Said to be 8 MP but really it is 2 MP of HTC, SONY very very Grainy. Lava should (Must) improve Camera Quality. Touch not at all Responsive
Battery life is very very good, Resolution, brightness, video, game speed is very very good, Never Hangs, Very Fast, Not updated to Lolipop Version as Assured. Sound is not at all good, Not high. So many times SIM Cards shown goes off and if by mistake you press button than all your datas lost. Better purchase XOLO

Here is a tip.
Anybody suffering with net speeds?
Get into engineer mode -> telephony-> mobile data service preferred -> allow full speed. Check it.
Other tip is use chrome browser. In chrome browser there is a data saver option. Turn it on and try.
It is too faster than uc lite app.

dear friend this is amuthan.. i am using lava iris x 8 , last tow month ,,, it is a relay good mobile,. i use wifi daily ( full day) , battery back up super, and i am hard user (games , dowl, fb, whtup, and i speak video calls, and mp3 song ) and morning 8 am i remove in charger 100% still iam go to my home 9.pm battery 20%.
and touch very smooth, and 8mp camera amazing front camara 3mp good. and this mobile all hd and buleray videos support, and hi end games wrking and no hanging ,no heating,
2 gp ram super and 16 gp rom nice,
System settings -> about phone -> software update
If there is software update available, you need SD card, download, get into recovery mode, apply updates from SD card, select file. Update.
Mostly lollipop around 500mb to 750mp file. . So need proper data plan.
You can also use WiFi, loudspeaker great. so i suggest this price 8000 very good mobile.

Yes bro,
I am also loves this mobile.
But camera quality very poor.
The dedicated bsi sensor cannot do much for this phone!

Majid khan, 21 Jul 2015I am also using lava iris x8...it gets hang when i m going ... morejust switch off ur phn for at least 5-10 minutes daily , and ur phone will work smoothly.
I also have this phone and i also faced the problem u said then i switch off my phn for 4 hours at night by auto switch feature and it is working great.

My phone was also hanging and then i did switch off my phone for 4 hours at night by auto switch off , and then it is working smoothly. You can also try switching off your phone at least 5 minutes daily, then it will work great.
