Anonymous, 05 Jun 2015Sound track changes because the feature ' Air Shuffle' is O... moreits true even i encounterd the same problem. i sought ot the probelm. its bcoz off third party media application such as mxplayer bsplayer. install only tye player not their codecs. it clashes with the phone codec. and dont opt for hw or sw options. use your app in default mode. thats it

Lava iris X8 is a awesome mobile, with 2GB RAM. Battery backup is sooo good. Overall performance is good.

well who ever say about the battery. let me tell you one thing. not only lava take any phone your battery will drain if you use data connections. instead try to use wifi and secondly some application remains open even after you exit. so see to that u open task manager and close all the app before keeping the phone on standby. if u cant do this than better go to setting/developer optoin/apps. there you can see dont keep activies just tick it. the phone will do the rest.

mr ashwin its a non removable battery not a non replaceble one. go to any service centre of lava they will change your battery.

i bought the pone just a month ago after reading the specification of the phone in gsm arena. well after using for a month iam saying about this phone. performance: i would rate 10/10 for this bcoz really the phone is very fast due to octacore and 2gb ram. it doesn't lag any where neither in applications nor in games.anybody who love to play games this is one of the phone you can rely on.smooth and no crashing. design and features: i have to say that its design is not such that one will say 'wow'. well it just looks like a normal phone. lava could have worked better on this,specially the speakers,its at the back of the phone and when you keep the phone on the ground i mean on anything the sound is depressed and the volume becomes low.the speaker should have been on the side of the phone and secondly i can understand why lava doesnt print their name at the front of the phone unlike other branded phones. lets talk about the features of the phones i would rate7/10 bcoz the main feature of the phone that is camera is just ok. not bad but not good also.though it has a 8mp cam. no auto focus no clear pic. unlike sny and samsung this phone doesnt has a off screen and home screen wall paper.it has only home screen wallpaper prefrence. and lastly this phone doesnt has different mode of volume adjustment unlike samsung and sony phones.it has only two modes one system another for media. i hope anybody ants to buy this phone just read this.

magnetometer not responding!!! phone testers showing it houses a magnetometer but no feedback from the same. no compass app form the maker even when sensors include a magnetometer. compass apps form play store not working!!!
hope l upgrade solves this issue....

There is a tilt problem in my mobile while gaming, go with redmi note 4g
