I am a fan of lava mobiles.... Except one thing.... their sound quality... I had a lava iris 504q+. Was awesome with camera and worst sound quality. I had an iris x1 as well. It only supports lava head sets!!!... Still I have confusion about that sound quality in present models. Somebody please clarify it for me

Initially was skeptical about it but this phone has impressed me with its performance. As it has 3 GB storage space the apps run smoothly and its battery life is also pretty long. Though the camera of this phone is what has made me buy this phone- 13 MP primary and 8 MP secondary camera along with LED flash so that's a definite a plus; the phone has other additional features that I discovered later on which made it a worth the money spent on it! Go for it man, this one is an amazing handset by Lava Mobiles.

I know about the other smartphone brands like Lenovo and Asus which bring such features to consumers, but I don't feel that those features are at all practical and are just for show. The Lava V5 is on the other hand cheap and offers just the features that you will be using on a regular basis.

Every phone will have some heating issue some time or the other! So until these phone companies come up with phones minus the heating issue, you have to deal with whatever you have got! Couple of my friends have been using Lava V5, that has some amazing features that stands out amongst the other phones in the same budget. It has a big display, with increase RAM (3GB), powerful camera with Android and fast processor that takes care of the heating issue to a certain extent! Considering all the features and the price tag, go for this model!

Firstly, it has a big screen size—a 5.5" HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass (though you'll have to get additional protection but it's a good start that you have this phone). Plus it has 3GB RAM, I don't know if you are a techie, but that's a damn good configuration when combined with Android Lollipop and a 1.3 GHz Quad Core Processor. Lets your phone run smoothly! Internal memory is 16GB which is again a plus cuz you wont have to worry much about juggling apps and when you need more space you can always expand it using a SD card. On camera front its also good! It has 13MP rear shooter and 8MP front shooter, both with LED Flash. Battery is just fantastic at 3000 mAh. Plus, its a January release, so its quite latest in terms of hardware and software. If you're looking for a good budget phone, I say don't think much and get it!

Have heard people complaining about this same problem, in facet even I'm facing the same problem. But after checking the Lava FB page, got to know that its on the way! Thank God, I thought that it isn't working at all. Just keep a watch on their page and hope that it comes out soon! And announce it as well!

It clicks the best pictures with its 8MP and 13 MP cameras. It does not face any memory issues due to its 16 GB internal memory and 3GB RAM. Packed in the metal body, the phones gives awesome experience of watching movies, playing video games and clicking pictures. I would suggest that you should go for this phone.

Jaya, 05 Apr 2016Asus zenfone 2 supports memory card upto 128GB whereas lava... moreGranted that Asus Zenfone 2 supports 128GB memory card but you have to look at the other thing like if it has this massive space but if it doesn't have a supportive processor then what's the point of having a phone like this! Even the upgraded OS is not going to be of any help! So my advice would be to go for Lava V5, though you would get considerable less storage, but atleast your phone would work smoothly without any lag! Plus the RAM and the Processor will make sure that you don't have a good experience! And one last thing even Lava V5 will have the Android Marshmallow upgrade available in case you think otherwise!
