Back in 2016 i got robbed on a tesco counter i mean i came to apy and my balance were stolen and zero.
Just by Using NFC. Since then i dont use it and been more carefull where or who i give my creditenials.
Very soon after my bank called me and told me aboutn robbery lost hundreds of euros and never seen them anymore.
after 2 weeks got a new card and turned off NFC and never used it anymore.
Swiping a card is much easier.

Since is the cheap phone NFC is not needed same goes for many else usually not needed specs.
By the way who uses fraud NFC if he can just draw and swipe his card and he or she bears it anyway.
