Photo of Samsung T699 QWERTY ICS droid leaks

18 June, 2012

The rumored SGH-T699 full-QWERTY smartphone from Samsung has just been spotted in the wild.

Little is known about the device save for the fact that it has a 5 MP shooter on the back, a front-facing camera, and a LED notification light. Android 4.0.4 powered by a Snapdragon S3 or S4 processor round out all the details we have thus far.

No word on pricing or availability yet, but it's a good sign there's a working prototype up and about, at least judging by the picture.

Because the specs on the new MyTouch are obsolete, it'll probably be a budget phone.

What is it with these companies only releasing QWERTY devices locked to sh1tty US networks and not globally? Still, nothing comes close to the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro.

Samsung Stratosphere has Gingerbread's 4 buttons at the bottom. This phone is ICS, or so the author claims. So it cant be teh same. Also, Stratosphere has 1 ghz processor. TMo can hardly hope to sell a device with that kind of a processor these days....
