Leaked Xiaomi Redmi K70 render shows off new design in white

Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi K60 series at the end of last year and seeing how 2023 is almost over, the K70 series should be just around the corner. And now we know what the base model will look like, thanks to leaked renders.

The Xiaomi Redmi K70 is shown here in white. The company’s design language has swung back and forth – the K60 had a rectangular camera island tucked in the corner with three lenses in a line, the K70 is showing an island that runs the width of the phone and has four elements forming a square (three cameras and an LED flash). This isn’t just a decal, the island actually protrudes from the back.

This wide camera island makes the Redmi K70 look very Poco-like. Speaking of which, the global market never got a version of the K60, but the Poco F5 Pro came close. So, we’re not certain that the K70 will get a global release, but a phone quite similar to it probably will.

Unfortunately, we don’t know much about the phone. A benchmark result from the Redmi K70 Pro surfaced with what should be the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (you can tell by the 5 middle cores). Indeed, the K60 Pro used the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, while the vanilla K60 had the slightly older Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1.
