Is this phone worth to buy? I'm currently hesitant to buy this phone because I can't choose between this and Huawei Y300. Which one do you think is better Huawei y300 or lenovo a516? thanks in advance! :)

i just bought one a few days back.. for my opinion, at this price its the best one presently available. I am satisfied with its performance.

I have this phone and I love it. I got this from my local provider, Globe Telecom.
Pros: Dual core processor, less lags, quite huge internal memory for apps, long battery life
Cons: very bad camera (that's the reason why I didn't sell my Xperia Ray and I still used it as my backup phone), it records video only at VGA resolution, messy bloatwares (but some apps can be remove like the preinstalled Gameloft games).
Anyways, it's still a good budget-friendly phone. I prefer white color instead of black.

i want to complaint, 28 Nov 2013Why I can't transfer the app to the SD card????JellyBean version of android does not have the option for moving or saving applications to the SD Card. It will take up the internal memory. Even if you download an application that can move files/applications from the Google Play market to move your applications it will not work. Only music, video, photos and document files can be save/move/copy to the SD card. Hope this helps!

For all android smartphones in Jellybean version it does not have the option to move or save application to the SD Card anymore unlike the earlier version of androids. All app will take up your internal memory. only photos, video, music or document files can be save on your SD Card.

Hi Guys, I just bought this phone a few days ago.. for the price as well as design aspects i think its a steal!
Generous performance apart from the copying apps to secondary storage on microSD, also i noticed that you cant create folder in a specific location when you plug it in (i used mobogenie) as installing the RAW Linux on my Win7 pc is too time consuming.. Ultimately, i was dissapointed that i cant get the mini bluetooth keyboard to properly work with Lenovo A516.. is this a known compatibility issue with Lenovo or Android 4.2 Jellybean? Please advise.

too small internal memory not just this model almostly all lenovo phone is just 4gb internal & ram 512mb or 1gb only . even lenovo tab a3000 also got serious weakness point like all download file , camera photo , bluetooth need to use internal memory even we already setting it to sd card .... another big problem at tab a3000 is ( how to clear the navigation & maps history record ? ? ? )
