The technology giant didn't reveal the exact release date of the software to its devices but hinted that it could fall between April and June. However, it said the actual "Released Date" date could change.
The company went on to say that the "upgrade is only applied to the models above bought from retail market; operators customized or contract models are not covered." The upgrade will be done through Over-The-Air (OTA).

why is there 0.3 mm of thickness difference in k3 and A6000?
I heard they Discontinuing because of hardware issues. Is this legit news?

Using the Phone from last one week.
Phone going by specifictaions is un matched at this price.
Even Looks, Build quality is also nice and comparable at par with any good Branded Phone.
However, on operational issues, despite having the strong and updated harware, i am facing following issues.
1) RAM : Actual RAM available is around 330 MM which goes down to even 70 MB if multi applications are open. This makes phone very slow even in normal use. Request Lenovo to look in to this issue. Or any body suggest me to way to clear RAM.
2) Ear Phone Volume is below average. Difficult to hear on open area with external noises.
3) Battery Life. : With 3G and net on, Without using any games. Just checking mails, Whatts app Messages and normal Call I am getting 8=10 Hrs of Battery Life. I have even reduced the brightness to save battery but still not getting much life. Is this a battery issue or is same with every phone.
4) Battery Charger: Take minimum 4- 5 Hrs. Lenovo should look in to this. Can any body suggest any other charger as with this battery life i need to charge during the day also.
I would request Lenovo to particularly look in to the slow processing issue, battery life and charger issues.

I don't know why people cry for free ram, low ram shows that few of the last open apps are always in the ram & ready to open instantly on multitasking, closing apps only if required, speed of retrieval from ram is taken care by the fast quad core SOC. So don't worry about low free ram. For the price this is the best device available now.

after 3 days usage:-
Bright display.
Ample battery so far.
The packaged headphone is "BAD" in one word &
Samsung in-ear headphones doesn't seems fully compatible as it causes problem with sound quality.
The phone won't be perhaps compatible with renowned handsfree devices. Lenovo trick to get customers buy proprietary headphones.
Screen is a finger print hog. Better use the screen guard asap.
Very low quality backcover. Sure to go bad very soon.
UI isn't great at all & loads the 1GB RAM which is left with a very minimal usable space.
